Writing in cafes. JMR, this is Tom Deedy, a writer in CT who founded The Tavern Players in the oldest bar in New London, CT, at an old haunt frequented by Eugene O'Neill in the 1910s when NL was our only Nobel Prize winning playwright's summer hime, where his only comedy, "Ah Wilderness" and the great American tragedy "Long Day's Journey Into Night" is set in a small house, The Monte Cristo Cottage, along the banks of the Thame River. My River Street series is based on a similar environment. In any event, I can write -- I understand it's hard work and rewrites -- and hope you'll give me a chance at collaboration. With the right director/producer, River Street is a bold, entertaining sojourn into our American psyche.
